Though, I dunno, that whole Pluto being a planet in the first place kinda annoyed me, so I was rather happy with its demotion.

I think you're the only one that I know of who actually thinks that, and it's not so surprising considering you're Mrs. Physics Gal :D

But since my Astronomy doesn't extend past one semester and my Physics past one year, I'm "old school" in the way that I liked the whole Roman Mythology naming of the planets and kicking Pluto out ruins the "set". ;D

See, I'm not fond of Roman mythology either. I prefer Greek. ;)

I actually like Greek better too! And one of my internet Greek friends from long ago told me that they actually call the planets after the Greek counterparts (e.g. Venus - they call Aphrodite) instead of what the Romans call them. :)

Ha! That's too funny, though. And throws me back to 1998 when I was taking a freshman seminar class on Galileo and the Church. Well, the part about everything revolving around the Earth does at least.
