Hmm... what can I say? My life is pretty boring and monotonous. ^_~
Finished all my HH homework I think. Also, posted arithharmony's test, and will start to work on astrolharmony's next lesson - funny! You gals are dividing me. One says to move on to Taurus, another says to stay with Aries, and another says she doesn't care! Not helping my indecisiveness. Of course, I said 'darn!' because I forgot to include what being a Cardinal sign means... so I'll have to add it next time. *grumble*
I think I sorted most of the HE applications. I've been pretty neglectful in participating in their contests (sorry!) but at least I vote! And I'm trying to stay excited in the RPG, but it's been... lagging...
HiH's RPG is cracking me up. All I did was backstory that my Gryffindor character is on friendly terms with a Slytherin charmer in her year, and from that, she's been called: a pushover, as well as not head-strong (although apparently, she's strong-willed?). The line "A Fire Crab could look at her and she'd be friends with it." cracked me up! I think because it is true. Unlike many of her house mates, she actually doesn't hate (usually) the entire Slytherin House (she might dislike a few members, but she hasn't been hexed or in fights recently with any of them). Also, the Food Fight between four of the youngins was hilarious (one of my other characters).
Nothing particularly new. This summer seems hotter than last summer. I think because it's been more humid lately. One of my co-workers is predicting an earthquake because the air is still (no breeze), to which we all say 'don't say that!'. I'm surprised that one of the new hires wanted me to train her, as I don't think they can learn much from me. I think it's because I'm generally a pleasant person and helpful, so I try to teach if I can.
The first new hire (who will possibly be finished with her training this week) already doesn't get along with a few co-workers; it's all personalities! She apparently is very sensitive, or takes comments as attacks to herself and not as constructive criticism? (I myself haven't witnessed this specifically.) And she argued with another co-worker (one of the only girls I have lunch with and spend breaks with on occasion). But that's understandable too, as that co-worker is... a bit hard to get along with. Sure, I get along with her fine, but I think she's Type A? personality or very by-the-book / anal about certain things, which I don't mind. Ah well. I guess that's my Hufflepuff nature?
