Gosh, I've been slacking. I really need to write a few letters - real letters, not online or e-cards, as I'm still in the old mind-set that real physical paper letters are actually more 'personal'. My girlfriend - she was one of my bestfriends in grad school but we drifted after I graduated (I am/was three years ahead of her) and after she got married - had a baby a couple months ago. I believe her name is Kristin Sophie (Sophie's her middle name, btw) although I know her grandpa (my friend's father-in-law) was supposed to come up with a Chinese name for her middle name (something about superstition/tradition with the birthdate and last name; or something along those lines - don't ask me - I have no idea). She sent me pictures online, but I have yet to write her a congrats letter. I also have been meaning to write a friend that we (my sister and I) made during our last European trip; we sorta became pen pals. So possibly - hopefully - tonight, while my sister is on the computer, I will NOT watch mindless TV and just write a couple letters.
Anyone have a hard time writing physically on paper with pencil or pen? I am so used to writing directly to computer - especially my fics and novel-in-progress - that it's hard for me to write my ideas on paper and then transpose them onto computer. I really ought to get cranking though... that novel isn't going to finish itself. I guess I haven't really been sufficiently motivated or angsty enough. The last few chapters are - naturally - more dramatic and a little angst-filled as it's nearing the climax and resolution. *sigh*
I'm not sure if I will have time to write the next lesson for arithharmony this week since this is now my sixth day of work (I am working eight days in a row this week). We'll see. I still have to grade homework and the test and update the hourglasses. I wonder if we still get participation points for posting to Witherwings, as I don't recall seeing our points listed. I could just be blind; that wouldn't be new.
My new layout - SQUEE! - but for some reason, something is up with the coding if I try to 'go earlier / back' in my entries. Thank goodness the flist works all right, and I actually don't look at my past entries too often. Ah well. I can always go look in the 'archive' or specific month if I need to.
Note to self: Do mtfmpharmony and harmonyrunes homework!
Woah... Slytherin won the H_E house cup this term! Congrats to them! (although I don't think I have any snakes in my flist from H_E) I am happy though that us Puffs did not get last place again ;).
God... my flist is long! It takes me quite a while to go through it... I hope I read everything that was important! (like *Squee!* for sevarem)
