So... I had a slight "Jackie moment" this past Saturday. The reason I wasn't around was because I went to Las Vegas with my sister and parents. Mainly, we went because we wanted to go to the Hilton and ride the "Star Trek: The Experience" ride. Yes, it had come out in the early 1990s? but we had never gone before, and we were/are Star Trek fans (yes, I'm a nerd! I admit it!) so my sister and I wanted to go.
As we were standing in line for half-price tickets on the Strip, I kept noticing vans with billboard-type ads for women. Something along the lines of "Just Call and A Woman Will Come To Your Hotel Room". And I was thinking (my "Jackie moment")... 'well, that can't be just for a show or something...' Until it dawned on me... that prostitution is legal in Nevada.
*headdesk*
I know... I'm slow! :P
