|A box of chocolates...

I got my next 2 week work schedule :) and I'm happy that I'm working the 8am shift on New Year's instead of the 4pm shift (although now I only get 4-5 hours of sleep between eve and day because I work 4pm to midnight the night before). Gah! for the following two days though (late shifts) but surprisingly I have the following two Sundays off. *gaspshock* I haven't had a Sunday off in over a month...
My best friend came for a visit. :D yay! She told me she moved back to Washington DC (she was the one who lived in PA) about six months ago (shows you how often we talk) and her life seems peachy :) and I'm happy for her. She was the cynical pessimistic type, but she says she's better now and happier. She gave me some book recommendations, and I tried to convince her to come to LJ ;) so we'll see. :)

Come with me to the dark side, MWAHAHAHAH.
(o.O) I hope you get more sleep someday! I can barely stand getting just 7 hours...but FOUR/FIVE? Eep.
*gives Jade a time-turner for reliving 4 hours of sleep over and over until she's slept 12 hours*
I hope so too! Me = zombie on New Year's Day!
*marvels at the time-turner* *HUGGLES*
That's great to hear that your schedule is a bit varied now.
Sounds like a wonderful visit and I'm very amused by how little you guys talk.
Definitely suck more ppl into LJ. hehehehe I've been working on B.'s godmother for awhile now.
haha... well, she doesn't call me and I don't call her usually because my life is BORING! ;D and I usually have nothing to talk to her specifically about.
haha... I told her NOT myspace but lj and I told her if she got one, then at least I could read what she does and she could read about the bad traffic in So.Cal. ;D
Hehehehe I don't know what you're talking about. I find you pretty amusing.
Yes, I agree, definitely LJ.
The schedule looks good. :)
He he...sounds like my best friend and me, too. We go months without catching up (and turns out she's moving to Seattle), but what makes us 'best friends' is the fact that we can pick up as if no time had passed. Cool. :)
If you ever find yourself en route to DC, give me a ring. ;D
Me: OKAY! Now tell me what's happened in the past year! *looks at watch* GO!
Honestly! That's exactly it! He he... Don't know about you and her, but it seems like a non-issue when it comes to transitioning into deep topics, like marriage issues (for her) and guy trouble (me).
Truly, I'm down in DC/VA often enough that a coffee 'date' is a real possibility. :)
haha... well, she did tell me she has a relationship! That was news! But me? I'm quite single AND boring... no real news there ;)
hehe - ok! Will do! I don't know if I'll be visiting her in March or not, we'll see... but it's so COLD there! How do you stand it? ;)
*sigh* I'm totally single, too, with no prospects at all (unless you count the guy from church who totally weirds me out and who has NO chance despite all his ill-timed and creepy compliments).
Cold? You know, sometimes it really gets you, but then again, I was out running errands yesterday in a jacket while it was in the mid-40's, so... Otherwise, I have a nice resevoir of homemade scarves that get lots of winter use. ;]
